Our Philosophy of Care

nursesAt Danville Care Center we are dedicated to creating a sensitive, nurturing and comfortable home where each client and resident receives personalized care and attention. This philosophy of care is resident-centered and includes:

  • Care for the resident and their families with quality care and support services through a process that meets individualized health care needs and facilitates health and an optimal level of independence and functioning.
  • Recognition and respect of the rights of patients and clients and their families to be involved in decisions regarding their care.
  • Bringing to residents, clients and families a top quality multidisciplinary base of services which may include: registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and medical social worker who will work in collaboration toward developing and implementing the best quality plan of care.
  • Communication with the patient's physician, insurer and all others involved in the coordination of the resident's total health care needs.

Our goal is to cultivate a supportive, caring environment that empowers each resident to achieve and maintain his or her highest level of functioning. We take pride in our resident-centered philosophy and approach to care. The safety and wellbeing of our residents is always our top priority.
